A Power Probe is an advanced electrical diagnostic tool that combines a digital voltmeter, a test light, and a power supply into a single handheld device. The tool connects directly to the vehicle's battery terminals via long lead cables. It features a digital screen showing voltage and a rocker switch that allows you to feed either 12-volt battery power or ground directly to the metal probe tip.

This allows you to test electrical parts without removing them from the car. If you want to see if a cooling fan, fuel pump, or window motor works, you touch the probe to the component's power terminal and press the rocker switch forward to apply power.
