AC System Cleaner

A chemical foam or spray applied to the A/C evaporator and ductwork to eliminate mold, mildew, and foul odors.

AC system cleaners eliminate musty odors coming from car vents. The evaporator core runs cold and wet, causing condensation to collect under the dash. This wet, dark environment allows mold and bacteria to grow on the cooling fins. When you turn on the blower, a bad smell fills the cabin.

Special foaming cleaners are sprayed into the evaporator housing. This is done through the cabin filter slot or the drain tube under the car. The foam expands to coat the cooling fins, killing mold and washing away dirt as it turns back into a liquid.

Using a cleaner once a year keeps the cabin air clean and fresh. It also improves cooling performance. Mold buildup blocks airflow through the fins, reducing heat exchange.
