A/C Evaporator Mounting Bracket

The brackets inside the HVAC housing that secure the evaporator core to prevent it from shifting.

The A/C evaporator mounting bracket holds the evaporator core inside the plastic case. These brackets prevent the core from vibrating or rubbing against the plastic housing walls. Rubbing would eventually wear a hole in the aluminum tubes, causing a leak.
